2004 vista 288 mid cabin berth parts

Hello, I have a 2004 Vista 288, and I'm trying to find out what piece allows the mid-cabin berth to go from couch to bed. I have the short pole but I think I am missing the proper filling piece. The ones I have just don't fit how I feel is correct. Any help would be appreciated. Pic for reference of area I'm talking about

Pull table up off pedestal

Swap long pedestal for short pedestal (do not smack yourself in the face with the pedestal)

Put table on short pedestal

Put filler cushion on table

ya know, I did that, and the previous owner said that wasn't the right piece.
it did look a little clunky so I thought I was missing the piece. bit also said jesus at what point do we have too many freaking pieces.
