My starter spins but won’t engage the flywheel. It was working great until I swapped out a bad battery for a brand new one. Motor runs fine if I start it manually. When I changed the battery and out the positive leads on it sparked. Now I have the starter issue AND my fish finder and front aftermarket LED light won’t come on. Where do I start to diagnose? I already added Wd40 to the shaft on the starter and by hand it will go up, but with the key it only spins and won’t come up to engage the flywheel.
