Hello, I have a 2004 Harris Kayot deck boat. I put the battery in it today and nothing on the dash has power, engine won't turn over either. I searched high and low for a master fuse to no avail. The outdrive will lower and raise and I have 12 volts at an amplifier in the front of the boat that has its own power run, but that's it. I spent a lot of time trying to trace the power feed and will try again tomorrow, but was wondering if by some amazing chance anyone had experience with this boat and could offer advice on where to look? I've attached photos for no real good reason. The images with the gauges at top are of the back of the console. The silver and white amp has power to it, but the red and black wires to it are separate from everything else. Thanks for any advice. Toni

From the picture, looks like one red line is not attached, and sitting in front of the battery towards the bow. Also, of the two reds that are connected, the one wire has a Fuse in place. Double check that fuse. The other wire does not have a fuse which could be connected to the Amp and Trim/Tilt.

What you're seeing is a red line that goes out of the photo and back in. There are only two red lines. The fuse you see on the one is for the stereo amplifier and is good.

I've actually come to the conclusion, from researching, that the 90 amp fusible link on the starter motor is probably bad/blown. Problem is, it's located near the lower rear of the engine on the starboard side and it's impossible to get to. I can reach around and feel it, but getting any kind of wrench on it seems unlikely. I'm wondering if the professionals take off the water manifold above it to get to it. Seems like they could have located this a bit better. Anyone have any experience replacing this?
