Found me another 2004 Crest sport. the link to it is here... http://www.boattrader.com/listing/2004-Crest-Sport-22-Re-100575463

any thoughts, comments etc would be nice. The hour meter shows 202.8 hrs. The carpet and upholstery are in
very good condition, with no tears or splits. The driver's seat swivels, but doesn't adjust forward or back. which I can fix by adding a adjustable slide plate for approx. $100. The wood deck is solid with no signs of decay. The trailer tires are in good condition. The DNR sticker expires July 2012. So at $11,900 is that a bad price tag or would it be an insult by offering $10,500 cash Out the door. Again any thoughts and or comments are welcomed, not wanting to go into this blind. thanks again and thanks for the input in advance.

If it's at a dealer, maybe you can get them to put a tandum wheel trailer under it for the $11,000.A two wheel trailer is a load for a 22 ft PT Boat.

Crest builds a really good boat so you are fine there and the 90 is a decent sized engine for a 22 and I think the dealer would be a little bit suprised if you didn't try to knock the price down, certainly can't hurt to try, you meet i the middle and you both get a good deal.

I would ask about the DNR tag though, I am in Indiana and when I got my boat years ago it had almost a year left on the sticker but when I went to get the new on the next year they laughed at me.

Seems you have to get your own sticker and can't use the previous owners, ended up paying for 2 years.

Yeah, I like that one too, but I'm with Silver Eagle. That barge needs another axle under it. You could probably work something out with them. What happened with the other Crest?

nice size (softball size) dent on the inside of the port toon and there was a sloppy looking patch job on the same toon. the best part is I have time. so i'm still looking for the perfect one, time is on my side..... thanks for the input i'll have to see what they say at the stealership........
