Re: 2004 book, repair/service manual
What kind of service do you want to do to it? Isn't it still under warranty? Oil and gearlube changes aren't rocket science and the Mercury owner's manual should have that covered pretty well. Flushing too. As a customer, that's the Only thing I'd be doing to a motor still under warranty. I don't know what aftermarket manuals are available for such a new motor. You'll probably have to order a factory manual (Mercury, not Tracker). They're better anyhow.

Bigfoot is for Pontoon boats. They work on other applications to varying degrees of success, but they're specifically made for pontoons. I hope you aren't into speed. They're intended for mounting big props to push big boats at slow speeds. I hate dealers that sell inappropriate packages just to use-up stock! Or manufacturers that put together such odd packages.
But a 25 on a 17 footer ... probabaly do okay.

I see on their website that they offer that specific package, but they don't specify Bigfoot 25s. That boat is also rated to hold at least a 75Hp. I think you're going to tire of that 25 within the first year, but good luck and have fun!
