I have oil leaking from the top of the motor. It looks likes it's coming out the sides of the chain case cover. There's no oil on top the cover. It runs well, no rough idle, WOT is about 5600rpms, no smoke. No issues at all, except the presence of oil.
There's also an oil drip from the tube under the muffler case at the throttle body (is that just from the vaccum)
It's been an issue for a while, and is a very slow leak. I'd say I lose 1 or 2 oz per trip if that. In the past year, its gone through maybe a half quart of oil. I don't see a gaske fot the cover in the diagrams. Anybody have any ideas or suggestions?
