Folks, I have a gray wire out of the shifter, my tach has two wires. Where do the wires form the tach go to? I assume one goes to the gray but the other??
Assuming you have a merc controller there should be a tach receptacle from the control box. (or ignition choke harness if it's a panel mount or console mount control) Where a your tach harness plugs in. Can you post some pics as well as a serial number?
Thanks, I do have the cable near the shifter, did not see this last year but.. I still have not hooked it up to anything yet. Oh did put 200 hours on Too Cute though!!
