About a year ago, a boat came from behind a bridge without looking and I pulled my throttle/shift from forward to reverse to keep from hitting him. I was going about 2000 rpm at the time. Ever since then, the engine has difficulty starting and will only idle down to about 1200 rpm and then stalls. I have the svc manual and have checked the TPS and other electrical components. This is a carbureted (Yamaha) and ran perfectly up to that incident. Any help from you experts would sure be appreciated!!
