2004 30hp 4 stroke tilt and trim broke!! help suggestions wanted

I have a 2004 model tohatsu 4 stroke 30hp carburator motor. It runs great and the tilt and trim works fine...but. Unfortunetly, the rod that comes out of the TT motor has broke off flush with where it connects to the boat motor. I know its my fault for not making sure that "bushing" on the motor itself where the rod connects was piviting correctly. I learn everything the hard way.
What I am getting at is...I have been told by 2 parts dealerships that there is no rebuild kit and that specific year TT assembly has been discontinued. The new conversion kit is $1400..not what i want to spend.
Any suggestions or possibly any one with the same motor that is a parts motor now?

If you need a new PTT motor/cylinder, your only option is /* 3AC771511M will work for old style if 3GF624661M tilt stopper is used */

Otherwise, you are looking for a used "donor" motor.
