I am looking at this boat right now. It looks good and only has 130 hours on it. My concern is 150hp enough?

Thanks,
Brian in MI

IMHO
Under powered and over priced for a 20 year old boat and power

While it’s a 21’ they are pretty heavy so I’d say a 200 would be appropriate power for that hull. That’s a Yamaha 2 stroke from what I can see.

I think without a T-top that was the standard (base model) engine for that boat. With the right prop I don't see a problem.

I didn't look it up on NADA. You should do that before deciding what its worth. That's a quality boat, but only if its been taken care of.

As already mentioned, that is underpowered.
If the boat is otherwise in good condition, and at a good price,
you could always sell the outboard if it is too small for you.

Thanks for all the replies. Not even going to try to make an offer on it. Time to look elsewhere!
