2004 200hp DI

What are the opinions of the 2004 DI 200HP Evinrudes?
I have been told they (Twins) are Direct Injection models.
Any pros/cons would be appreciated.
What about diagnostic software?
Would this work to look at engine history?

They are 15years old and no longer supported by BRP. Parts are getting harder to locate and pricy if needed.

A buddy bought a 1994, Grady 248 with a 250 on the back. Was told it was a good motor if the updates are done.

More money than should have been spent and two tows later, he threw in the towel and repowered with a 275 Verado.

That is a 2002 200HP Ficht Ram..... now 17 years old and parts getter harder and more pricer. If you need a injector..its NLA and was almost a grand. Multiply x6......ouch. [h=1]5005196 - Matching & Equivalent Parts[/h]
