It seems as though my rear seal on the prop shaft is leaking.. From the outside it looks as though all I have to do is remove the rear bearing plate on the lower end and replace the seal and o'ring.. I don't have a repair manual but am only figuring this from a parts breakdown picture. Is this job as straight forward as it appears to be assuming that the shaft is not nicked and only the seal has gone bad? Any advice and comments will be taken onboard and appreciated.
