Good evening I have a 2004 TLDI NSD40B. The engine seems to run well but while cruising at above 4800 rpm it flashes all 3 warning lamps. When put in self diagnose mode and the code I’m getting is cylinder 3 ignition coil fault. When codes are cleared they return immediately return after I run the boat down the lake. I clear the codes swapped the cylinder 2 and 3 coils hoping the the fault would follow. Next trip out it set the same code. The engine runs smooth but at idle from time to time I feel a single miss. The engine has good power when started cold but if I idle around for about 10 minutes the engine has har time accelerating over 3000 rpm then accelerates once the boat planes out. Due to that I replaced the plugs with PZFR6H plugs. Made no difference but after the plug swap is when the warning lamps started flashing at high speeds.

I would check the signal wire to coil 3, and verify all grounds.
