Nissan 8 hp 2-stroke has been running geat for a year. Now it doesn't want to start unless the gas cap is tight and the choke is closed. It also often stalls at idle. I noticed today a couple of ounces of fuel residue in the forward corner of the housing (as the engine is set up after each use). It's not a lot, but I don't think a new motor should be leaking fuel somewhere up top. I tightened the brass screw directly centered under the fuel pump today as it was loose. It seemed to do the trick. Or is that just wishful thinking?
