2003 nissan 9.9 4stroke convert to 15 hp

is it true,,that since my engine (.9) and the 15hp version share the same bore and stroke,,that all I have to do is get a 15 hp carb,,or can I convert my 9.9 carb by installing the 15 hp components? Thanks

If you have an A model all you need is the 15 hp carburetor. You need the 15 hp carburetor as the body is different than the 9.9.

What about the "B" model? it comes in a 15hp version also?
