yes, for something new and different, not an engine that wont start, but an engine that wont stop when the lanyard key is pulled. The lanyard switch is operating correctly: no continuity when the key is in, continuity when pulled. the wires flow current where they are supposed to, the ground connections and anodes are in good shape and the CD unit was replaced as the presumed problem, but to no avail. the only way to kill the motor is to disconnect one of the coil leads.
