I have a 2003 Mercury 40 hp ELPT, 2-stroke outboard. Serial#0T602612. My lower unit is shot. I wanting to buy a used lower unit for it. What other year / hp lower unit will interchange/ work on my outboard engine. Long shaft

Your OEM part number is 821306T6. If you do a Google search of the part number, you should come across a website that offers a very big list of lower units that that part number will fit.
