Is there an exhaust port next to the place where water comes out behind the motor? While running fresh water through the motor I noticed exhaust coming out. I also noticed a few weeks ago it had grass in it and I cleaned it out. I never noticed exhaust from there before.

Those are bypass ports. When the engine is in the water and idling, back pressure on the through-hub exhaust would make the engine idle poorly. The bypass ports relieve that back pressure and exhaust and a fine mist or dribble may be noticeable from the ports. Very evident on a cool day when the engine is cold.

It was exhausting pretty good with the motor out of the water and the flush ears on it. It was also exhausting from the prop hub.
How about the water port? How much water should be coming from the fitting when the engine is running?
It seems like more water used to come out.
