2003 Johnson 115 four stroke...are they any good?

Hi folks, I need a quick response on this one. I am going to look at a pontoon with a 115 Johnson four stroke, 2003 model if I remember correctly... Are these as dependable as the mercs and hondas, yamahas? I haven't seen many if any of these on the river where I live, seems every new boat has Mercs or Hondas by and large. I heard they are the same basic motor as the Yamahas... The boat is exactly what I have been looking for, its just that I have heard and seen little about Johnsons and I am relatively new to the boating community. Thanks John

These are actually Suzuki engines, painted white. We sold a ton of them back in these days-never got one back for any warranty.

Correct. And yes the Johnson/Suzuki 4 stroke is a purty good motor. Gotta lotta em running around down here.
