I got this boat with old gas. It had not been run in the past 1 1/2 years. Previous owner had tried to start but wouldn't stay running. TWICE I have cleaned the carburetors after cleaning fuel tank and flushing the fuel system with new gasoline. It's not difficult to start and runs pretty good when throttled up. It will not stay running unless I open the throttle a bit. Today it slowed down as if I was backing off the throttle then gradually picked up speed again. The idle speed is screwed all the way in and there is no adjustment left. It seems to have a miss at low rpms. I cleaned the spark plugs but do have new ones coming.... anything I missed here? Any suggestions? I've sprayed, dipped, blew out with compressed air... poked pipe cleaners and wire through every passage on all 4 carburetors. Same owner had same problem with jet ski which I fixed with same procedure. It is running fine now. The only way I can get the boat to go is to throttle up to high rpms then slam into gear. At times it takes off slow then quickly picks up speed.
