I disassembled my L/U to put in new seals and water pump. When I removed the shift cam I"m almost 100% sure I confirmed the orientation (which way was was up). However I see on what I believe to be the bottom is the part number 760394 but it's also stamped "up" . I thought be better confirm which way is correct, however, it's been more difficult to determine than I thought. The only thing I have to go on for some confirmation is the blown up portion of the on-line parts diagram which seems to indicate the numbers should be down - seems like that's what they are trying to get at with the blown up section of the shift cam. If it didn't actually say "up" I wouldn't be second guessing myself.
