2003 225 4 stroke hours

Im looking at a larger boat. it has a 2003 225 4 stroke with 600 hours on it. No records of maintanence. I am going to test ride it next week. Anything specifically I should look out for in a motor with this many hours?
is this alot of hours for these motors?
water pump and oil changes in the crakcase and lower units are easy but I dont have a computer to hook to it.

any technitions in the MD cheasea area?

another thing I heard was the 200 4 stroke and the 225 are the same except for a computer chip which can be put into the 200 to get 225hp. True?

IMHP if there are no records of matiance it is a RED flag

The motor requires matiance on the fuel and other systems every 100 hours OR once a YEAR



If there are NO records on a 4 year old motor i can only assume the matiance was NOT done



Catching up can dig a big hole in your wallet
