Got my boat out after a two year storage. First time out was a rough start, smoked alot then cleared and ran for a while then died. After that it would start but would die when put into gear (forward or reverse) finally when I was about to give up it worked. We ended the day running great and starting well after every drift. Last week launched the boat and it would turnover but never started, or fired. When I pulled the boat out and tilted the motor for transport I had a fuel/mix dripping from the skeg.(actually noticed fuel spots in the water) It has sat a week due to pesky work! Today I attempted to start without priming thinking I may have flooded it at the launch, pulled the plugs they look fine. I considered bad fuel. I attached a small external tank to the new primer bulb with new fuel, primed, and choked, and nothing. Not sure what to do next......thanks

Start with the basics. Fuel sample, compression test and open air gap spark test. Report back with all these results.

Thanks I'm working the next two days. I plan to try to purge the fuel system, I think it's a water problem. I'll report back.
