Hi everyone, i am looking at a 2002 Tracker Pro Team 185 with a 50hp merc. First question is, will the 50 hp merc be enough motor for this boat? Second question, the boat hasnt been used in 3 years and the seasons when it was used, it was used a few times a month, they are asking 10,995, does this sound like alot? It is a special edition boat. My last question, what is everyone's opionions on bass tracker boats, are they durable, any major issues?

Unless this is a flat bottom you will not be happy with the performance. Look at the max HP tag and then multiply that number by .70 or .75. The result is the general rule of thumb (70 - 75% of maximum HP) as the minimum for acceptable performance. If you are alone 90% of the time that may be an acceptable package but load it up and it will be underpowered.
