I have changed the impeller and thermostat but still running hot. The old impeller had disintegrated into quite a few small piece. Im wondering if some of them could have gotten up into the passageways and might be causing a blockage? Motor runs good at 4200 rpm’s for about 15 minutes then shuts down? Over heat alarm comes on. Any suggestions would be appreciated

yes pieces of the impellor can plug up passages, causing over heat.
you can try dropping the lower unit and pulling the stat out and hooking a water hose directly to the pipe up to the power head and injecting compressed air into that also as you try flushing things out.
but you may have to open up the motor to find and clear it.
