2002 Mercury 9.9hp questions

I have a 2002 Mercury 9.9hp engine. I'm trying to find an owners manual online. Does anyone have any links to one? This is my first boat engine I've owned. It has been sitting for a few years now. I don't even know if it's a two stroke or four stroke. I am still trying to figure out how to get the top off of it. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am going to get it all cleaned up, buy a gas tank/hose, and this winter I'll take it into a shop and have them go through it. Where can I find a reasonably priced gas can/hose ?

They made both a 2 stroke and a 4 stroke at that time, so the manuals will be different. Post a pic if you can't find more info.

I ended up getting the top off. It is indeed a two stroke. I can smell the two stroke. There's no spot for oil either so I'm pretty confident it is a two stroke. The hour meter says 2 hours. Not sure how right that is. I will post pictures. I was hoping I could find a manual so I can get the proper fuel line hook up/fuel tank. Should I go ahead and pull the plugs out and put new plugs in it ?
