2002 Mercruiser 3.0l engine alignment

I just installed a rebuilt engine in my boat . The alignment tool is tough to get in and out . But it has witness marks all around the tool. So do I adjust one or both mounts. I see other post talking about front and back mounts . I have side mounts. One side mount does not seem to be able to move , can’t get wrench on the top nut to loosen it , the mounting bracket is in the way . So do I adjust only one side ?

You absolutely must adjust both sides. I would try with a socket or if necessary, I would modify a spanner. Heat it up and bend it so it does fit on...

get a thin-wall socket (or make one with a grinder and a regular socket)
