2002 honda bf8 wont start

I just recently puchased this motor and I initially went to start it this weekend. After some time it did light up, and I ran it for 30 min in a test barrel and shifted in and out of gear. Then the next day I wnet to start it and it lit right up but after running for a min it stopped and now I cannot get it to start. I have checked the neutral switch , saftey swith, spark to the plugs and seems like I am getting some gas. Any Ideas, thanks

Hi dvndog, I have a bf15 and it did the same thing. I took the carb. apart, cleaned all the jets and orifices in carb cleaner and blew them out with comprssed air. Now runs like a charm ! Always drain the carb good at the end of the season and use stabil..
