Hi!
I am currently in the market for a new boat and I came across this. Many people say that it very comfortably seats 6 people. But, I wanted to know if anyone has/had this boat and if so, what was it like with 8 people which is the limit. Also, does anyone know the draft on this boat? If anyone has an opinion about this boat you can also tell me that! Thanks in advance.

Here is the listing:

From what I've read about glastrons, you won't have to worry about rotten stingers on that year because it was composite stingers

My brother in law has the GX180. Same hull but with 150hp outboard. In the 180, the rear bench seat is moved back with more floor space/leg room than in the I/O. I prefer outboards for less weight/better performance. We have had 8 in the boat for low-speed evening cruise. Cozy but doable with 4 in the back seat. No room for gear of course. I dislike having adults in the bow because of visibility when running or towing water sports so tend to avoid that.

No idea on draft. It's more with 8 people in the boat of course.

With 8 people aboard there is not much room for moving around and swapping seats, kind of problematic for anything but the low speed cruising as skibrain described.

8 Will be a very tight ride in general on that size and style of boat. Of course how many you should have and where depends on what you are doing.
