2002 90hp ELPT4 - Add water temp and oil pressure gauges.

I'd like to add oil pressure and water temp gauges to my '02 90hp carb'd 4 stroke.

Is it as simple as using signal from each existing sensor? Or do I need to add an additional sensor for either gauge?

Is there already signal that goes to the remote in the harness? Having trouble finding wire diagrams for the Mercaha that define what's in the bundle and additional wires. Still waiting on the factory FSM.

Side note, many parts for this vintage are NLA, which is making me second guess my "good idea" I had to buy it...

Well, I'd still love to know if anyone has done this. I don't think I'll be going with oil pressure, at least not for now. I did get a water temp gauge that I'd like to hook up. Does anyone know where I can add a separate sender for water temp?

I got a little oil pressure warning light that I can hook up to the ground wire of the oil pressure sending unit. If it grounds, I.e. low oil pressure, the little light will illuminate. This way if the alarm sounds and there is no oil light, I'll know it's water temp. If the alarm sounds and the oil light is on, well then it's oil pressure.
