I also believe Honda's are excellent motors. 2 strokes are a little lighter and provide a little better performance but are not as fuel efficient or quiet as 4 strokes. If your boat can handle the weight, (373 lbs) I would buy the Honda 90 because it weighs the same as the 75

The good:
Hondas are VERY reliable, and they are 4 strokes. Being 4 strokes they are quiet, smooth, clean, economical, smoke free and user friendly.

Not quite as good: They are carbureted and not computer controlled, which makes them less economical, user friendly and clean than a fuel injected, computer controlled engine.

Not good: At 373lb, the BF75 is the heaviest outboard available in that power range. It is also the most expensive.

Bottom line? I think the EFI Merc 60hp or the EFI Suzuki DF70 would be a smarter choicce.

Good luck. :)
