1) First th EZ one—anyone know specs of factory prop/pitch. I am third owner. Came with two aluminum props. One is dinged other was repaired once and was badly dinged—I won’t repair this one. I can’t read any #s on props that would indicate specs/pitch. I want to buy a brand new one and then keep the minimally dinged one for spare.

2). Have had the motor two years. I have changed oil/filter/lower unit lube each winter.
First two years ran beautifully always..

The last couple times out motor starts fine. But then runs a little rough initially kinda of revs/slows at slower speeds and ifle generally once at full throttle runs well without slowling (but this may have happened even at full speed briefly a few times). Once at full throttle top end is what it always has been.

Ideas of what it might be?? If something easy I would like to take care of myself first, before taking to mechanic. I thought I would replace spark plugs, and perhaps fuel line/bulb.
If it were a two stroke it seems like a carb/fuel problem, but this is first four stroke I have owned.

Thanks for any help!

Do you run fuel out each time you are done boating ?-----An empty carburetor stays clean.

giving the motors full model number helps ID what you have.
since you say it is not a 2 stroke and it does not have carbs, I would monitor the rail pressure to see if it stays in spec.
if rail pressure is good all of the time, sending off the injectors to have then cleaned and tested would be a good idea if changing plugs does not solve your problem.

motors do not come with props, you buy what is correct for the boat you put it on

no he just said it was a 4 stroke.
my mistake
seems the only 2002 F60 I could find still had carbs

only real way to make sure all 4 carb bowls are drained completely of fuel is to open the drain screws to empty them

best to run them often and keep the bowls full

To elaborate more on the prop question, if your satisfied at what the prop is doing for your boat (usually means your tachometer is in the rpm range that your motor recommends) take your existing prop to a propeller shop and they will tell what you have. You can then purchase one from them. I recommend a stainless one if you can afford it.

The model number is DF60 and it is a 2004. It is a four stroke. Behaving a littl lik a two though.
