2001 yamaha ox66 250 76

I bought a 2001 yamaha 250 ox66 76 degree rebuilt powerhead in october.I broke it in before I fogged it out by running it for 10 hours and followed the break in procedure to the tee.Before I fogged it out I did a compression check on it.My compression was 95 psi on all 6 cylinders.I contacted the dealership where I bought the rebuilt powerhead and he told my that was normal on a 250 ox66 76 degree.Out of the box brand new you get 95 to 100.I dont trust him .What should it be.What could be causing this low compression?Thanks Mike.
