2001 Yamaha 90HP 2 stroke 90TLRZ - water flow question

Hi,<br /><br />I have a 2001 90HP 2 stroke 90TLRZ I bought last November on an older Wellcraft Center Console. I put it in the water in November, it started and ran great. My question is: I don't seem to get all that strong of a water flow while running it in idle on "rabbit ears" or while flushing it with the flush out connection. It is a steady stream, but should I see something more? It seemed stronger in the water. I am new to Yamaha engines, but have been boating for 15 years(Force).<br />Any thoughts?<br /><br />thanks<br />Dwight
