Can anyone tell me about this part of the cooling system?? I have the head off the replace head gasket and ran into a ton of salt built up, these two passages that run from the exhaust cover where plugged solid, I had to drill them out. Drilled out the salt up to the hose connection you can see on the side but beyond that they are still packed with salt and looks like it has pushed that circle piece In the top passage out and ascue. Bottom one looks normal. So my question is what do those cylinders do beyond the hose connection are they supposed to move?? Any info would be greatly appreciated I have scoured the internet and my seloc manual and cannot find ANYTHING on it. Thanks!
