Good morning, I just bought a new to me boat with this 70 hp Yamaha. It goes into forward and reverse on muffs ( prop spins in both directions and seems to shift smoothly) but when engine is off it locks in reverse but I can spin prop in forward gear with clicking noise ( like jumping over the cam on the forward gear) so I removed the gear case and took it to the Yamaha dealer and they told me after tear down I needed a new clutch dog and gear, they did the work and I reinstalled and it is still doing the same thing. Then I removed shift cable to make sure cam was moving all the way over to forward and it was. So what am I missing?
