2001 Tohatsu parts availability

I have a line on a low hour 2001 Tohatsu 50 hp oil injected but non tldi. My concern is future parts availability....any advice?

Is the model M50D2? If so, that is the newest of the non-TLDI motors. They are not oil injected; they are auto-mixing.

We are thinking about buying a Nitro with 70 hp Tohatsu motor. We don't know the year of the boat yet, but I'm wondering if it could be a M70C-EPTOL. It doesn't really matter what year I guess, right now I'm very concerned about getting parts in the future. Does anyone have info on this?

Well, the 70C is obsolete... but you can currently still get carb kits, wp kits, etc.
