2001 sylvan 17.5

looking at 2001 sylvan 17.5 adventurer for purchase. Has 90 hp merc.
We fish 3 men plus 30 gal shad tank. Methinks 90 is not enough hp.
need opinoins

Is that an aluminum hull? If so 90 will be plenty. I have a 90 on my 18' Starcraft and can hit 40MPH with a light load.
