When i try to put it into gear or give it more gas, the top mount throttle box is really hard to move. It also likes to idle really igh after a quick run. Any Suggestions
Disconnect the throttle and gear shift cables from the engine and see if the problem is in the control box or the engine throttle or engine shift linkages and post the results.
By disconnecting the cables from the engine, then operating the control you can tell whether the problem is in the control box and/or cables or in the engine linkages (throttle and shift). If the control is still stiff after disconnecting I would suspect the kink. Just like a brake cable on a bike a kink is not a good thing.
