2001 Nissan 9.9hp 4 stroke

Hello I have a 2001 Nissan 9.9 4 stroke. I was wondering if it can changed to a 15hp or even an 18? Detailed info would be greatly appreciated. Part #s would be even better. Oh yah it's a 9.9b. if that makes a difference?

Yes. You can do a carb change to get it to a 15, but you'd need to do a cam and carb change to get to the 18.

No, the 15 hp carb has a larger throat. You need the complete carb. You must change cams to go from 15 hp to the 18. AND, I should mention that you would need a used cam; that cam is NLA new.

For the year in question (and probably several other years), yes.
