Ok, I haven't used my boat in about six months. I bought brand new deep cell batteries and started connecting everything up. Everything is working now (radio, trolling motor, lights, jack plate, etc.) except my motor won't turn. I checked and nothing seems frozen. I checked the voltage and I'm getting over 12 volts to the motor. I don't know it maybe it may have something to do with the control wiring. I wanted to check to see if it is getting power to it but not really sure which wires to check. Any suggestions as to where to start?

Start be reviewing the wiring diagram in the back of your owner's manual (available at http://www.nissanmarine.com/tech_talk/pdf_files/Nis60C_70C_90A_120A2_140A2.pdf) and consulting the Factory service manual.

Make sure the kill switch isn't activated. Make sure the neutral safety isn't activated. Check for power to the solenoid, and to the solenoid trigger when trying to start. Check for power to the starter motor.
