Guys Im installing an Optimax saltwater series DFI and trying to save money so I have a few questions on problems Im experiencing
1. I have an oil tank and two hoses that go to the tank, is there supposed to be an exterior oil pump that pulls the oil out of the oil tank and into the engine or is there a pump somewhere on the engine that pulls the oil. The reason why I ask is because all I was given was the tank and the hoses which were attached to the motor!!
2, The engine starts perfectly fine but I have a plug that comes out of the engine but I dont know where it goes connected to . I have uploaded a pic of the plug to give you guys some idea of what it looks like. It has a piece of tape attached to it that says SMART GAUGE hand written.....not sure what it can be
