I have a 2001 Mercury 115 ELPTO it is the base motor from Tracker Marine Serial # OT378776<br />The motor requires about 1/2 throttle to start and the only starts after 3 or 4 tries ( it idles and dies go through this about 3 or 4 times let it warm up 3 or 4 min. and it will run ) Starts a little worse when cold but it can be 90 and same thing. The motor runs good when running does not miss or idle rough but will die if you go quickly from running speed to stop. I had a 1974 Merc. 115 it was cold natured but started much better than the new one any advice would be appreciated<br />Thanks
