Hi
my trim/tilt only works in the down position. Tested switch and relays all is working. I read a post about a limit safety switch that could be a possabile problem/ if stuck, up position won't work. Is this switch down by the tilt motor or in the engine area? Boat is in the water and can't get at tilt motor area because the engine is stuck down.

Swap the relays and see if it now goes up which would indicate a bad relay. Good luck

I have same problem. I think mine is switch as It progressively got worse. Meaning I had to press the switch harder and harder to get it to work Now it doesn't work at all. I can hear solenoid click. can you hear the solenoid?
Can you verify switch operation on yours?

Check the blue/green wire connector just below the relay box and see if both wire connections are clean and tight. No corrosion.

I'm getting signal at relays on tester when I hit both up and down on the switch so I am ruling that out

I removed the relay harness and the wires are so darn tight you can't move it to see underneath where the leads go in???

While you have the harness apart try jumping with a battery direct pos on blue and neg on green then swap around see if you get lift and drop out of trim motor.
