2001 Evinrude 200 Ficht ?

I am looking at a new boat with a pair of 01 Evinrude 200 Ficht's on it. I love the boat and the price seems right but I am weary of going with a set of Evinrude's after all the problems they have had. The dealer told me they are qualified for full 2 year warranty and extended if I chose. Should I consider the purchase or stay away from this engines

I would if I could. I believe the 2001's had issues also, but from what I've heard they have the fix for the Ficht The price should be good(there's a lot of bad publicity out there). Bombardier is going to stand behind these motors. Good luck.
