So last year I would bring my boat to a stop get out and swim to notice an oil sheen on water. Then I started to notice that the Gear Lube Monitor was showing low on oil. Simple question is there a common issue with the Alpha One Gen II where I could look? I am going to pressurize the unit and look for leaks just curious if there is something quick I could look at. Appreciate any help you can provide!

Thanks

With drive trimmed up look where the shift shaft is and also the prop shaft.

So I checked it and I could see oil with the drive tilted up on the lower unit towards where the shift shaft seal is located. Sounds like it is leaking from there. I will drop the lower unit pressurize and replace the seal if it shows air leaking. Then will probably go ahead and replace the impeller while I am in there. Appreciate the help and let me know if you have any other suggestions for it.

Thanks

Matthew
