It doesn't do it as much idling as in gear at a low RPM. I check both connections on the primer bulb and seem to be tight with no leaks. Bulb gets firm when pumped. Other then at low RPM the engine runs like a champ. Plugs changed each year, fuel filter changed twice a year.

Sounds like it is running a bit lean if your idle rpms are set right.
If you bump the choke does it stay running?
If it does then try turning fuel/air mixture jets counter-clockwise 1/4 to 1/2 turn each and see if this richens up the fuel mixture and helps your problem. What I do with mine is set the jets in gear at a an idle while tied to the dock. If it stays running there it is close enough to go out and have fun. If I set them to the best idle in the driveway the engine is too lean on the water and dies. Turn them out until the motor RPM's slow down then turn in clockwise slowly until the RPM's start to slow the other way and try a point in the middle.
Post back and let us know if this helps! ;)

If I push the Key (Choke) it runs good for a bit then wants to die again. Not sure if I'm going to get out again this year. It getting a little cold up here and Ice is just around the corner. Thanks for the suggestion about doing it in the water. I'll try it in the spring
