I have a 01 60hp mercury pro series oil injected outboard that bogs at full throttle. Ides n runs good but when at full throttle she will bog down to a slow wake after a few minutes 5-15 she will sometimes accelerate for a few seconds then bog again. If I turn her off and let her rest for 5-10 min she will be normal for a few min then bog again. I have changed the impeller still ssme results. Water pump is good. Changed fuel line from tank to engine. Still same results at full throttle.

Sounds like the carb is dirty. Probably need a new needle and float. Easy fix just message me if you need help and also check fuel filter. Dont forget to unscrew the air vent on the gas tank ;)

....your manual should cover all this. Online manuals are also available.

When was your fuel hose last replaced? Does squeezing the bulb when it's bogging help? If you have never replaced your fuel hose it is almost 10 years over due.

Oop! Hey guys, before spending a whole lot of time on this one, you may want to watch the date since the OP hasn't been back online since 8/30/13. Hopefully he has the engine running better by now and if not, he'll have some good information to work with now as a starting point.:) Thanks for all that you do here on the forums, we really appreciate it.:)
