Hey everyone,I been a good while sense I've used my boat, I went to use it and try to use the power trim and raised the engine and heard a snap. Needless to say the ram broke off what I call the collar swivel and bent. Do I have any hope of repairing it or do I need to get a new used one because the part seems to be obsolete. Also need to know how to get collar swivel part off of motor it looks like some kind of drive pin drove through it am I wrong.also if somebody would know is that ram screwed into that swivel or is it welded, it looks welded to me

The ram is threaded. Looks like the upper section was seized, and did not swivel. You may be able to disassemble it with the assistance of heat. There are two different TT units; depends on the serial of your motor. They are very expensive, so a used one may be a better choice, if you can find one.
