hello
got a 2001 250 vmax and its developed a fault where it wont rev past 4500revs trimed out and 4000 revs trimed in. Also its got no guts when trying to get the boat on the plane?
Have put all new fuel filters in, had all the float/fuel pump resevoir apart and cleaned and checked, cleaned and checked all the injectors, even tryed running it with all the injector filters removed. have put new spark plugs in, checked the spark wasn't breaking down underload (does'nt apear to be)
It started of as an intermitent fault but now it wont go away. Anybody got any ideas?
Am in the U.K and these engines were never sold over here so the yamaha dealer is no help here.
